This page restates, in plain terms, what is in sections 2, 3 and 5 of the Terms of Service. Where the two differ, the Terms of Service govern.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance in US dollars to the payment method on file, and renew until cancelled. The price is the one shown at signup. We may change prices on 30 days’ written notice, effective at your next renewal.
Essential is month to month. Studio and Studio Pro run a three-month minimum term, then continue month to month.
Cancelling
Cancel by emailing support@businessrate.com from the address on the account, or from the billing portal link in any receipt. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Where a minimum term applies, cancellation takes effect at the end of that term or the current period, whichever is later.
Refunds
We do not refund partial months. You keep access and delivery for the period you have paid for.
We will refund in full if:
- We have not delivered any of the content included in a billing period and the failure is
ours, or
- A charge was made in error or duplicated.
Ask by emailing support@businessrate.com. We respond within one business day and process approved refunds to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Returning the kit
Studio and Studio Pro include equipment that remains our property throughout. It is loaned to you for the duration of the subscription; you do not buy, lease or finance it.
- On cancellation we send a prepaid return box within one business day.
- You return the complete kit within 14 days of receiving that box.
- If the kit is not returned within that period, you authorize us to charge the replacement
cost to the payment method on file. That amount is disclosed to you in writing at checkout, before you subscribe.
Equipment returned with damage beyond fair wear and tear may be charged at repair or replacement cost.
